VIDYAJYOTI (PRE-PRIMARY)
Hindi Society conducts Vidyajyoti 1 & Vidyajyoti 2 programme for 4 & 5 year old children. It is a fun filled programme for Kindergarten students and is being conducted on Saturday mornings at all the Vidyajyoti Centres. In some Centres, afternoon sessions are also been conducted.
We have a great team of teachers who are passionate to guide our pre-primary students using Thematic Integrated approach & the programme has been designed by ECDA trained professionals.
Students of Vidyajyoti programme enjoy learning Hindi through hands on activities and discussion opportunities such as Circle Time, Music & Movement, Speech & Drama, Art & Craft, Show & Tell and Flash cards and Cooking etc.
We strongly believe in home-school connection, our Parental Involvement activities are well liked by parents.
They enjoy learning journey to various places of interest and performing on Annual Concert day.
Our Community Outreach Programme includes inviting Police officers to our centres to talk about Safety & Learning Journeys to National Orchid Park, NEWwater Centre, Fire Stations etc
After completing our Vidyajyoti Programme, the V2 students have a Graduation Ceremony & are presented with a Graduation Certificate at the end of the year Vidyajyoti Concert.
MESSAGE BY GUEST OF HONOUR K1 CONCERT 2016
It gives me great pleasure to be the Guest of honour for the Hindi Society’s Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony. The tour of the kindergarten that I took earlier just before coming into this hall reflects the highest quality of preschool education your children are receiving at Hindi Society. I am certain that the organisation takes great pride in their dedicated and passionate teachers who have come forward to work with the community to help their children a strong Hindi Language Foundation. Thank you, teachers, for investing your time in the Society’s efforts to keep their promise to work hard and build a strong Hindi foundation for the young children who are keen to learn Hindi as a language.
I applaud the new Hindi Society Management for being proactive and for understanding the need for Early Childhood Education. The management of the society is helmed by competent professionals who are passionate about providing a quality education for the young. In that vein, the management has depicted this passion has one of their objectives:
‘TO TAKE YOUR CHILD’S HINDI LANGUAGE FOUNDATION TO NEW HEIGHTS’.
With this objective in mind and the many helping hands, the society has created a child friendly school ambience with a tailored curriculum that is conducive to quality learning. The society focuses not only on the internal learning environment of the children but also the external details such as the strategic location of the three Centres they have since started and are located in the heartland of Singapore. These Centres are easily accessible by public transport and near to amenities. Parents can now drop their children at the centres and visit the library or even go shopping at the nearby malls
The society introduces and uses the Ministry of Education syllabus prepared by qualified and registered Early Childhood and Development Agency (ECDA) staff to put in place a variety of strategies so that students enjoy learning the language. The commencement of the language at kindergarten level will ensure the smooth progression to language learning at the higher levels.
To the parents, I say that you are indeed fortunate to have enrolled your children with the Hindi Society. By doing so, you have made the right choice in your child’s education. Once again, my congratulations to the pioneer group of the 2016 kindergarten students and I wish you all the best in the next to your child’s continued education journey.
