Board of Teaching & Testing of South Asian Languages
The Board for the Teaching and Testing of South Asian Languages (BTTSAL), a community body that oversees the delivery of NTIL instruction and assessment across school levels in Singapore. It enables NTIL students to learn their language within a multi-racial and multicultural context of Singapore Society.
The Hindi curriculum in Singapore is managed by The Board of Teaching & Testing of South Asian Languages (BTTSAL). As part of this, BTTSAL has developed common curriculum instructional material required for the learning of the Mother Tongue syllabus prescribed by the national educational policy. (for Hindi as well as 4 other languages, commonly known as NTIL). The curriculum follows the MOE guidelines of providing application & usage skills to the students. Hindi Society follows the same curriculum material for the classes conducted for NTIL students.
